Rita Banerji

A filmmaker and the founder of The Green Hub: A North-East Network, whose research base was Ichol village, collaborated with Vijender Sharma, Sanjiv Paroha, as well as locals Neeraj, Raja, Satinder, Rohit, Manesh, Rekha and Anju. She conducted a workshop on documentation and storytelling through mobile phones, which enabled children to document and edit life around them into short videos. The main vision of this collaboration was to connect visual documentation to other strands of Disappearing Dialogues, thus building a cohesive visual literature.
