Nidhi Khurana

A textile artist whose bases of collaboration were Ichol and Maihar, studied the biodiversity of the regions and created visual maps on the textiles of the region. She conducted a skill development eco-dyeing workshop with villagers at Art Ichol, using natural resources from the area and demonstrating techniques such as eco prints, bandhani, and shibori, from locally sourced materials on Chinese silk. Participants of this workshop included locals Sibwani, Komal, Indrabati, Suman, Gulab, Ajay, Ahmed, Salni, Anuradha, Gagan, and Azghar Bhai.
